Since 2000, PBDW has been one of the lead design architects for Equinox, a luxury fitness brand. Over the course of this relationship, we have completed the designs for 13 interior installations of Equinox Fitness Centers across the United States in cities including New York, Chicago, Santa Monica, and Coral Gables among others.

By creating elegant and lively public spaces around the often raw and edgy equipment and workout rooms, our designs have reinforced Equinox’s global concept of treating fitness as a part of everyday life. Each club, while consistent in design approach, is unique to its specific location and neighborhood demographic through its materials, lighting, and spatial configuration. Most recently, PBDW completed the design for the flagship location in Hudson Yards.
