Debora Barros Assoc. AIA
Debora Barros has been practicing architecture and preservation for over 13 years with experience in New York, the United Kingdom and Brazil. Since she joined PBDW in 2007, she has worked on remarkable preservation and adaptive reuse projects such as the Park Avenue Armory and the New-York Historical Society in New York City. She has worked on residential, commercial, and corporate interiors projects in Brazil and the United States. As a heritage consultant in the United Kingdom, she developed conservation plans for major redevelopment projects in Manchester and London, including the conservation work and design of a new setting for the relocation of the Edwin Lutyens Manchester Cenotaph. Debora received her Master Degree in Historic Preservation from Columbia University in 2005, a Certificate in Conservation of Archaeological Sites from the Università degli Studi di Firenze, Florence, in 2011, and her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Brasília, Brazil, in 1999.
